  1. IDOD 3.0 Realease Notes

  3. Be sure to get the release dox, it has been updated.  All past
  4. registered users have not contacted me for the latest password
  5. that was changed a few months ago.  You may get the password
  6. by leaving me e-mail (B.DANIEL).  I'll then resend the password 
  7. info to you.  If you lose the password, let me know and I'll send
  8. it to you.

  10. Changes made since the final beta:
  11. ÑAll help screens are now complete.
  12.  
  13. ÑQ&D has been increased from 6 files to 24 files.
  14.  
  15. ÑWhen making your own list with just file numbers, you no
  16. longer have to put spaces after each number.  Just enter each
  17. number on its own line.
  18.  
  19. ÑThe "Dial in" minutes has been improved.  It is now based on
  20. the system clock so is more accurate.  You can also cancel
  21. IDOD immediatley instead of waiting 30 seconds.

  23. ÑThe log now appends to itself and keeps a history of all IDOD
  24. sessions until you clear it yourself.  IDOD 4.0 (which is already
  25. in the works) will give you the option to append the log or 
  26. overwrite.

  28. ÑIn the Dial window, the time to dial now shows the current time.
  29. IDOD 4.0 will give you the option to remember the last time or
  30. show current time.

  32. Support:
  33. I setup a support/discussion topic in the Red Ryder BBS.  Goto
  34. page 585 (RR RT), option 1 (BBS), topic 48.  IDOD 4.0 might have
  35. an option that will automatically go into the bbs and get the latest
  36. discussions.

  39. all messages, so if you don't get a reply, leave me another note.

  42. IDOD 4.0:
  43. I have already started on 4.0 and it will probably be released at the
  44. end of the year.  Overall, 4.0 will allow more user settings and 
  45. options.  As usual, all registered users can use the beta 
  46. versions which will be available on the Mac RT in a few weeks.  All
  47. other non-registered users will have to wait for the release.  Until
  48. then IDOD 3.X is the version to use.
